About Us
Mark and Jeannie are a professional, English couple in their thirties who are very reliable, honest, tidy and non-smoking.
In Dec 2006, we left our professional office jobs for an 18 month round the world trip. It was in New Zealand that we first came across the concept of ‘house sitting’.
Wishing to live in Europe on our return in June 2008, house sitting was our natural option. We enjoy exploring new places and experiencing different ways of life ranging from sustainable and organic living to rural locations and cultural cities.
We love all animals. Our enjoyment of long walks means we can cope with the most energetic of animals, and our love of all animals means we are adept at caring for pets requiring lots of doting. Being on the move is not conducive to having our own pets so spending quality time with yours is the perfect win/win solution.
Our travels have given us language skills to get by in any country and situation. Our time in France and Spain has given us a good language ability in French and Spanish. Having our own car makes us fully mobile. We both have full and clean UK driving licences for over 15 years.
As responsible professional house sitters we pride ourselves on our maturity, friendly approach, and discretion. We understand that integrity and honesty are paramount for house sitting.
